A Brief History of Radiology
In 1895, Wilhelm Röntgen wrote a paper called “On a New Kind of Ray”. This was the beginning of Radiology as we know it today. In his paper, he detailed the basics of x-rays and the technology behind it.

Bobbi C – Bobbi is an exceptional example of dedication, decisiveness, and integrity. Keeping patients first, Bobbi has successfully transformed CMI business operations to an effective, functional, and more streamlined process; and she is a pleasure working with.
In addition to the fine remarks made about Bobbi from her nomination for this recognition from Business Services, she stepped into a very challenging role at CMI, and with her vast experience and knowledge of the imaging center’s business operations, transformed the working relationship between CMI staff and Texas Oncology into a positive, mutually beneficial working relationship between these two excellent facilities.

Sophavy (Pavi) G. / Billing – Pavi is very detail oriented. She is always willing to assist her fellow co-workers with their questions when asked. She has a good working relationship with the Insurance Manager on errors that affect our claims on a daily basis. Pavi is always willing to learn new tasks in our department. When asked to assist on something, Pavi has no problem handling the issue. Pavi is a team member within QA who ensures the accuracy of data for valid claim submission. Did you know that June is Men’s Health Awareness Month? Unfortunately many men suffer from common diseases such as heart disease, prostate cancer and many more ailments. However, Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center of Dallas is here to help. Many of our services, specifically MRI’s, are used to detect these issues and stop them before they become an issue.
