Southwest Diagnostic Center for Molecular Imaging (SWDCMI) is the outpatient imaging arm for the new Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas Cancer Center, which opened on Jan. 29, 2015. SWDCMI includes state-of-the-art imaging technology for oncology patients, including:
- Revolution GSI – GE’s first high-definition, low-dose CT scanner
- Siemens’ Biograph mCT40 Flow – a continuous motion PET/CT Scan
To quickly serve our oncology patients, the imaging suite includes a radiologist interpreting area, where imaging studies are dictated. This area also provides the oncologist with unlimited access for radiologist consultation. This combination facilitates efficient patient care and treatment planning.

All imaging machines are accredited by the American College of Radiology, considered to be the gold standard for imaging quality and consistency.
