Meet our Business Services Employee of the Quarter:
Melissa is on our Quality Assurance team within Billing. She consistently ensures the accuracy of data prior to claims submission and works closely with technologists and other department supervisors. She keeps track of any errors in order to make operational improvements that will continue to make SWDIC better each day. Melissa can be counted on to handle any task given and does so with a smile on her face and an exemplary attitude.

How many years have you worked at SWDIC? Almost 3 years
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Being able to ensure that our patient’s claims/statements are billed correctly the first time around & the impact that has on the cash that comes in the door. I truly love what I do and not everyone can say that!
Cowboys, Rangers, or Mavericks?
I am a huge Mavs fan but I also love my Boys!
What’s #1 on your bucket list?
I don’t exactly have a bucket list but I would like to see each of my kids attend & graduate college
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Dubai
What are your hobbies?
I love DIY projects and crafting

6 – my wonderful husband, Antonio and our 4 kids – Jayden(15), Jayla(11), Chase(8) & Cameron(16) and of course myself
